Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?
Sasha first came out to be transgender at the age of high school. Sasha faced some difficult times but knew his family would support him and that music could assist. Jim and Sasha who are both writers have recently become an official duo and have been playing at open mics and other local venues. While The Voice coaches did not talk about Sasha's background, the duo as well as Jim discussed their journey to where they are today through a short introduction clip that was played prior to the show. Jim and Sasha talked about what music they enjoy in addition to how Sasha took up guitar for the first time at age six. It was the fact that his father was a music instructor helped Sasha to become proficient in the art. Sasha was born a female and was unsure of his gender as a child. In a recent Instagram post, Sasha opened up about the struggles he had to face. Jim was filled with emotion when he shared his motives for not being able to help during these difficult moments. Sasha Allen was born as a woman. Sasha Allen is 19 in 2021. Sasha Allen started his journey into masculinity while at the beginning of his time in high school. Sasha stated in his Instagram, "I am the third transgender person to make it on the show and I'm delighted to represent transgender people in such a broad platform."
