Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha first announced as transgender in high school. Sasha had to face some tough times but knew his family would support him and that music could assist. Jim and Sasha each have a songwriter. They have been playing at local venues along with open mics and at other venues. While The Voice coaches did not reveal the story of Sasha's past, she and Jim discussed their journey to where they are today through a short introduction clip that was played prior to the show. Both Jim and Sasha talked about what they love to listen to in addition to the way Sasha picked up the guitar first when she was six. He was able to learn the form of music more quickly due to his father being a teacher. Sasha, a female born child, had a difficult to figure out who he was.
